End of the Income Tax

He makes a good argument that it will happen within the decade.
I hope he's right.
The Social Security system can't be far behind.

After a lifetime of trying to stay one jump ahead of the system I can only hope that the next generation will devise a better method of taxation.

I paid the max into Social Security for twenty years, adding to a 'surplus' all that time which could now be used had it not been pissed away by being wrapped into the General Fund. Those non-deductible taxes for FICA represent the most flagrant misuse of public moneys in our lifetime. And they were (and continue to be) collected from the first dollar of earnings of every worker.

The income tax, even as it has become corrupted, is less a deception than Social Security has turned out to be.
