The Fog of War

Here is a story that will not likely make the evening news. It tells of a nightime raid by U.S. soldiers (shall we call them "coalition forces"?) of a private residence that turns out to have been a case of mistaken identity, wrong address, or something. In the end they forked over four thousand dollars for damages, which strikes me as an insult.

This last link is an audio file which is the journalist's first-person account. It makes the story come alive in a way that no reading can achieve. Best comment from anyone:
