In case you missed it, here is the link to the Mt. St. Helens webcam, updated every five minutes. It doesn't seem to be working this morning, and at night it's pretty boring also (unless there is a volcanic eruption, of course -- Duh...), but I have the link bookmarked. Thanks to Instapundit.

Thanks for the link! I will check that out. I was in Seattle during the big St. Helens eruption, and had to drive to Eugene, OR a couple of days later. The road surface was coated with ash, and driving on it was treacherous... the stuff was like glass. 40 mph was the absolute top speed. It was like driving in thick fog due to the amount of dust and ash the cars would kick up. Man... I guess this eruption isn't expected to be quite as huge, but it still may throw debris several miles!
