Obligatory reading for our time

Britain's librarians have come up with a list of must-read books with Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird at the top of the list.

She may be the most famous person alive that most people either don't know or think that she is dead. Never let it be said that one person writing one book won't make a difference. Her life and that book are testimony to that.

I'm glad to see that The Life of Pi and A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch made the list. See how many you recognize and how many you have read.
