Yesterday's plane crash into an apartment building inTehran is now old news. Since it happened in Iran it will be soon forgotten in the US. But I suspect it will be seared into the consciousness of Iran's population for years to come. I found an Iranian blog with a summary of various news accounts (NY Times, BBC, Reuters) which includes links to videos of the aftermath.
Today, of course, is remembered as Pearl Harbor Day.
National Geographic covers the history in detail for those with time on their hands.
This time a year ago I was looking at an article about North Korea and remembering my own experience in South Korea as a guest of the U.S. Army.
