Yesterday's Morning Edition carried an excellent segment about the history and current state of the only significant flu vaccine production operation in the country. It runs less than nine minutes and covers the topic in a clear and interesting manner.
There doesn't seem to be a transcript, but the few minutes it takes to listen is worth every minute.
