Impressive slide show as China gets ready for the Olympics. When a totalitarian state decides to make something happen, it will happen. We are not told at what cost in human sacrifice, but hey, it's all in the name of progress. Right?
I have very mixed feelings about these slides. On one hand they are breathtaking in vision and scale. On the other hand, they remind me of a designer phone I saw once, the proud new toy of a woman whose family qualified for food stamps.
